Jour 37
Aujourd'hui:
-----l'adverbe
--------Here is some more explanations on placement rules.
--------Here are also some good practices and rules
-----le passé
For those of you in my second class who asked about the accent aigu...the rule is just, and I quote, "quelquefois le e du féminin change en é" So the rule is that there are no rules...just tendencies... Sorry. But it is done for pronunciation purposes, so a good indicator is if there are three consonants together. As in with énormément. But it is not a sure-fired way to decide if you need an accent aigu or not. Just know the ones we discussed in class. Lentement is an exception because the 'n' is not actually pronounced because it is part of the 'en' nasal sound...
Devoirs
Faites l'exercice B.Interview dans le workbook à la page 79. Yes, the workbook, remember that thing collecting dust under your bed?
I also recommend reading the rest of the chapter. Because we only have 2 days left before the test, so if you have questions on something you are going to want to have your questions ready before then.
Don't forget about your orals!!! If you miss you have to have a doctor's note or other written excuse in order to make it up!!!!! It is like a test and you chose the time so you are responsible for being there. I have talked to a couple teachers and so far I've heard some good things! So don't worry!
Also: Your final exam is on Saturday the 1st at 12:30 in Kimp 105.
